• Question: Why does fruit need sun to grow🍎?

      This is because plants don’t take in foods like us. They take in carbon dioxide and water in the soil and using a process called photosynthesis (which needs sun) they can make glucose and oxygen from this. They then use the glucose to grow.

      Ciara has explained very well. There are some fruits that need more sun to grow than others. For example some berries do not need a lot of sun to grow.
