• Question: when you take the blood sample what would you do with it

      Hi!

      So we take the blood sample and then we place it on ice to make sure the sample doesn’t get damaged.. We then spin the blood in the centrifuge and take off the top layer, this is the plasma!

      We then freeze the plasma until all the samples have been collected and we use a lab technique called chromatography to determine the fatty acid levels!
