I went to a primary and secondary school in Clonakilty, Co. Cork.. St. Josephs and then Sacred Heart. We did a good bit of science in both. I really loved biology in secondary school so this led me to choosing a science degree in college.. I studied nutrition and health science.

I went to school in Co. Mayo-Holy Family National School Primary School and Sacred Heart Secondary School… We did experiments for science week in primary school-with magnets, making rockets etc. and I loved this.. Science was my favourite subject in secondary school, I loved biology and liked chemistry also which led me to a career in science!

Do you like science? The world will always be looking for scientists!
