• Question: i play hurling but after half time i am really tired at half time what food or drink should i use at half time to give me more energy before during or after the match

      It is important to make sure you are really well fed before a match as this might help with lacking energy at half time. Have a good meal about 2 hours before hand which contains lots of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. If you still need something in between then bananas are a good option maybe with a little peanut butter. Just make sure it is nothing that will be difficult to digest as this could make you feel sick or give you a cramp when you are playing.

      Died nuts or bananas are a good option for eating at half time. But don’t eat too much!
