• Question: Why is it said that vegetarians will live longer than others?

      I am not sure this is actually something that is proven yet.. it is likely if they do it is because they might be healthier in other ways such as eating less processed foods overall and exercising more. If someone who is a meat eater also ate less processed foods (such as sausages) and also included a lot of fruit and veg in their diets it is likely that their lifespan would be similar I think..

      Vegetarians generally follow a healthier life than non-vegetarian people. They usually have healthier diets, the usually do exercise and care for their bodies. That is why in some studies vegetarian people live longer
