• Question: Why do lots of chocolate bars have traces of nuts

      Because chocolate bars are normally produced in the same companies where they produced other bars with nuts in it. So even if they clean them some traces might still be there and for very allergic people is important to know.

      And not just chocolate bars.. most processing facilities in some ways have nuts along the processing line so you will see this on a lot of food items.. just to be safer for people with severe allergies to nuts.
