Main challenge is how to organise your time to get good results. There are so many things to think about that organisation is essential, so it is easy to get lost and not getting good results if you don’t organise what you are going/want to do.
Another very common problem is that the experiments don’t work as you tought, so you have to look at it step by step and see why it didn’t and what to do to follow the research.

I think my biggest challenge so far has been learning things which I am very unfamiliar with. I really enjoy learning but in my PhD I have had to learn a bit about coding for different analysis I am running.. this is unlike anything else I have every done and so I have found it difficult at times.

Like Gonzalo one of my major challenges is managing my time as I have multiple jobs.. However, I find if I make lists on coloured sticky notes and plan my days in advance I manage to squeeze it all in!

In terms of problems, sometimes I work with cells.. They are like humans, if I don’t feed them, keep them warm and give them lots of love they die..!
