As long as your dad boils the milk to keep the nasty bacteria away is fine. Raw milk is really dangerous to consume, that is why it has to be boiled or processed. Fresh milk that is found in the shops is going to be good as well. There won’t be many differences in terms or being better or worse,. Maybe in the taste there will be difference.

Both are just as good and it is great to be able to have something directly from your farm. 🙂 As Gonzalo said though killing the bacteria in the milk that could make us sick is very important. This is done by a process known as pasteurization. This is where milk is heated to 72°C for 15 seconds. You might have a machine that does this on your farm? The milk you have straight from the farm will also not have gone through a process known as homogenization and so the texture might be a little creamier and it will separate out if it is left sitting around without shaking it or stirring it.
