      Well firstly what happens is sugar turns on the reward sensors of the brain.. this makes our brains wired to want more sugar over time. It has also been found to possibly have an impact on memory (this was found in mice so possibly not exactly the same in humans!). It can also have an impact on our mood due to sugar highs and then crashes.. A little bit of sugar is okay but foods with lots of sugars everyday over time can have these negative impacts..
